The prisoners featured in the Lent Prayer Project have families and friends who greatly miss them and long to see them again. Some are able to visit their loved one in prison but others are not. In preparing the material for this year’s Prayer Project, we have been in contact with loved ones of some of the prisoners, even though in some cases we are not at liberty to publish much of the information they shared with us. However, we are in a position to convey messages of encouragement to some of the families and invited our supporters to do so. We received many beautiful cards addressed to the families. Below you can see them as well as photos of some prayer trees (a suggestion in Junior Church in Chains) that supporters put together.
