Hold a Benefit Concert

benefit concert can be as small or as big as you want. Once you know the venue and scale of your event, think about what specific genre of music you would like and then it’s time to get some rock stars on the bill. Remember that recruiting your performers isn’t just about putting on a show, but the artists you partner with will be a key element of your fundraising. Of course we can let supporters know about the event, but don’t miss out on all the local music-lovers who might be interested.

Ballybay Country Gospel Group with Margaret Johnston and Gordon QuinnFor many years now, this has been done every year by a dedicated team of volunteers in Corcaghan, Co. Monaghan. At an annual Gospel concert (pictured) they combine their talents to organise a great evening, and year after year they have raised thousands of Euro for persecuted Christians and their families in Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Pakistan and elsewhere.

Contact the Church in Chains office at (01) 282 5393 or info@churchinchains.ie before the event if you would like us to send you resources such as posters, Information Leaflets, Global Guides or extra copies of Church in Chains magazine.
