The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) is marked in Ireland on Sunday 2 November or any other Sunday in November. Churches all over the country devote time during their services on that day to pray for the Persecuted Church. The focus this year is on India where Christians in rural areas are attacked by militants and also imprisoned on false charges of forced conversion.
