SUPPORT THE PRISONER FUND

Prisoner Fund Logo Since the work of Church in Chains began (back in 1976) we have always prioritised praying, acting and giving in support of Christian prisoners. In continuation of that objective, we are now launching a fund simply titled “The Prisoner Fund”.

This fund will be used to support Christian prisoners around the world and their families – assisting with needs as diverse as paying for transport costs to visit a far-away prison, medicines for a prisoner or a family member, education for the children of a prisoner, accommodation costs where a prisoner’s family must move for safety reasons and legal costs to represent a prisoner. The fund will also support former Christian prisoners for a period following their release – many find it difficult to secure a job because of their imprisonment.

WHERE YOUR MONEY WILL GO

All gifts given to “The Prisoner Fund” will be used to support Christian prisoners or ex-prisoners and will be channelled through our international network of trusted partners who have direct links with the prisoners featured in the Lent Prayer Project and many others.

Your gift will be sent, without any deduction, to help to meet urgent needs as they are presented in countries including China, Eritrea, Iran, Pakistan and Vietnam. Each need will be evaluated carefully by our partners before support is given. Please give, as you are able, to support our brothers and sisters who are in prison and their families.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot arrange to channel gifts to specific prisoners.
