Join us on Saturday 19 September for our annual Supporters Day from 11am – 3pm.
Our special guest Dr Khataza Gondwe (Christian Solidarity Worldwide) will bring us stories from the church in sub-Saharan Africa.
We will also have live praise, dedicated prayer stations and a Q & A with our speaker. Lunch will be provided (but must be pre-ordered).
The event (including lunch) is entirely free to attend. A collection will be taken up during the event for anyone wishing to donate.
WHERE IS SUPPORTERS DAY BEING HELD?
Trinity Church, The Exchange, 50 Gardiner Street, Dublin 1. The venue is close to Connolly Station and adjacent to Busáras and the Busáras Luas Stop (Red Line). It is about 5-7 minutes walk from O’Connell Street (junction with Abbey Street). Paid car parking is available beside the venue at Irish Life Car Park (entrance on Gardiner Street).
WHAT TO EXPECT AT SUPPORTERS DAY?
We’ll begin with praise and after that, our guest speaker Dr Khataza Gondwe (Head of Advocacy and Africa and Middle East Team Leader at Christian Solidarity Worldwide) will speak about the persecution of Christians in sub-Saharan Africa including Nigeria, Sudan and Eritrea. After a comfort break, we will then have a Questions and Answers session followed by lunch (which will be provided but must be pre-booked).
“PRAY FOR THE NATIONS”: After lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit and move around between four prayer rooms (Africa, India, Iran and North Korea) where a national Christian will share about current prayer needs and you can pray for them in that room. We’ll finish (by 3pm) with a united praise song.
WHAT TO EXPECT ONLINE
The talk by the main speaker and the following open questions and answers session will be streamed online (11.30 – 12.50 approx.) to registered delegates.
