The prisoners (including some who were long-term) were released from Mai Serwa prison during the second week of January.
Five women have been arrested after taking to the streets to celebrate the release of 69 Christian prisoners.
It has emerged that the 27 Eritrean Christians released from Mai Serwa prison earlier this month were freed on bail secured by property deeds submitted by family and friends.
